Week 11 brings one of the most balanced slates of the season with tough matchups, playoff-level intensity, and plenty of spots to separate smart fantasy managers from the rest. Here are my week 11 Bangs & Busts!
Quarterback

BANG: Caleb Williams @ Vikings
Projection: 19.5 pts
I love this matchup for a Bears offense that’s finally clicking. Caleb has been in full command the last few weeks, and Minnesota’s defense has looked stagnant and predictable. Chicago should be able to push the ball downfield early and often, and with the Vikings struggling to generate pressure, Williams has a clear path to another big fantasy outing.

BUST: Bo Nix vs Chiefs
Projection: 17.3 pts
The Chiefs’ defense is too disciplined and too fast for a Denver offense still searching for rhythm. Add in the Broncos’ shaky pass protection and Kansas City’s ability to disguise pressure, and this feels like a spot where Nix will struggle to sustain drives. Volume may be there, efficiency won’t.
Running Back

BANG: James Cook vs Buccaneers
Projection: 18.5 pts
This is simply a great matchup. Tampa Bay has been soft against the run all season, and the Bills are in a spot where they could jump out to an early lead. That game script heavily favors Cook, who should handle plenty of touches and see consistent scoring chances throughout the afternoon.

BUST: Javonte Williams @ Raiders
Projection: 16.1 pts
Las Vegas’ entire defensive identity this year has been built around stuffing the run and letting the pass rush tee off. That’s a nightmare setup for Williams behind a Cowboys offensive line that’s been hit-or-miss all year. Expect a grind with limited running lanes and very little upside unless he falls into the end zone.
Wide Receiver

BANG: Emeka Egbuka @ Bills
Projection: 16.6 pts
Egbuka has quickly carved out a major role, and this matchup fits him perfectly. Buffalo struggles against shifty, quick-separation receivers, and with the Bucs leaning on him as a volume piece, Egbuka should once again command steady targets. Another 7–9 looks feels very realistic.

BUST: Davante Adams vs Seahawks
Projection: 15.7 pts
Adams has been strong with the Rams, but this matchup plays away from him. Seattle’s secondary has been elite all year, and their physicality forces the Rams to win on the ground and with their defense. Not through a high-volume passing script like they have been accustomed to. With Puka commanding WR1 usage, Adams profiles as a fade this week.
Tight End

BANG: Jake Ferguson @ Raiders
Projection: 10.9 pts
Ferguson has cooled off the last couple of weeks, but this feels like a prime bounce-back spot. Dallas should find plenty of red-zone chances, and Dak historically leans on Ferguson in tight windows. Expect renewed usage and a return to reliable production.

BUST: Cade Otton @ Bills
Projection: 9.7 pts
Otton’s role is fine, but the matchup is not. Buffalo has consistently erased tight ends this season, and the Bucs’ offense may struggle to sustain drives. Low floor, limited touchdown chances, which makes it a fade for me.
Defense / Special Teams

BANG: Texans D/ST @ Titans
Projection: 7.4 pts
Houston needs this divisional win in a tight AFC playoff race, and this is one of the softest matchups they’ll see. Tennessee still has no offensive identity, no rhythm, and no consistency. Expect pressure, short fields, and a defensive unit playing with urgency.

BUST: Falcons D/ST vs Panthers
Projection: 6.5 pts
Carolina is beginning to find something on offense, and Atlanta’s defense has been fading. Add in the Falcons’ inability to generate splash plays, and this feels like a low-upside week where the safer play is simply to fade.
Kicker

BANG: Chris Boswell vs Bengals
Projection: 9.0 pts
Pittsburgh’s offense moves the ball well but still stalls often enough to gift Boswell multiple field-goal opportunities every week. At home, in a divisional matchup, this sets up as another strong scoring day.

BUST: Joey Slye vs Texans
Projection: 6.9 pts
Tennessee’s offense is flat-out broken right now. Drives stall early, and scoring chances are rare. Until the Titans show any life, their kicker remains an automatic fade.
