Alright, the NFL is back and you know its about to be a mess. Some teams are about to soar like my Philadelphia Eagles. Others are going to crash harder than my fantasy team last year. A few sneaky ones will quietly make you say “man they’re actually good.”

Here’s how I see the AFC shaking out in 2025. Plus my hot takes that might make you laugh, cry or throw your remote.

AFC East:

*Winner: Buffalo Bills, Josh Allen keep them on top, Miami and the Patriots will make some noise but Buffalo gets it done.

*Hot Take: Patriots quietly make the playoffs Mike Vrabel and Drake Maye get it done.

AFC North:

*Winner: Cincinnati Bengals, Too much offense Joe Burrow and Co will win shootouts weekly.

*Hot Take: Lamar Jackson will have highlight games early but the Ravens wont overcome missing him for half of the season due to injury.

AFC South:

*Winner: Houston Texans, Three-Peat coming CJ Stroud is him and his time is now. Even without Joe Mixon to start this roster is loaded and ready to roll.

*Hot Take: The Best Rookie in the AFC South will be Jayden Higgins. He’s the first, second round draft pick to receive a fully guaranteed contract for a reason.

AFC West:

*Winner: Kansas City Chiefs, Big Red and Patrick Mahomes run this division everyone else gets treated like little brother.

Hot Take: Three teams from this division make the playoffs.

So that’s the AFC for 2025. The Chiefs are the Chiefs. Burrow and Co outscore everyone. The Bills take their division. CJ Stroud and the Texans are a sneaky high-upside team. Don’t sleep on Mike Vrabel and the Patriots. Stay tuned for the NFC division winners and hot takes.
