Week 1 of the preseason is barely in the books. Why wait for the facts? We can dive headfirst into the wildest, boldest, and totally reasonable overreactions possible. This is the first of many…overreaction Monday pieces to come!
Treyveon Henderson: The NFL’s Next Great RB1 Is Already in Foxborough
Forget “easing him in” — by the time the leaves start changing in New England, Treyveon Henderson is going to be the full-time starting running back for the Patriots. Book it.

Rhamondre Stevenson? Solid, sure, but Henderson’s burst, vision, and ability to catch passes out of the backfield scream feature back. Every time he touches the ball, it feels like he’s one broken tackle away from a house call. He’s not just going to be the best rookie running back this year — he’s going to look like the kind of player you build an offense around. Fast, shifty, not afraid of contact…sign me up!
Fantasy managers, don’t wait until Week 4 to realize you should have drafted him. The Patriots’ offense desperately needs a spark, and Henderson is a firecracker ready to explode.
Shedeur Sanders: Browns QB1 and Future Rookie of the Year
Okay this one is a bit much, but it is overreaction Monday. In what has been maybe the MOST covered and analyzed offseason for an NFL rookie, ever…Shedeur Sanders got the start in week 1 of the preseason. He went out and turned heads in positive ways. Sanders completed 14 of 23 passes for 138 yards. He also threw two touchdowns. Additionally, he added 19 rushing yards on four carries during Friday’s 30-10 preseason win over the Panthers.

Yes, he made some mistakes and had some very risky scrambles. Yes, he’s untested in the NFL. Yes, Cleveland isn’t exactly known for being a quarterback paradise. But Sanders showed some real composure, great ball delivery and swagger to not just survive, but thrive.
Don’t be surprised when we’re talking about him as the future face of the Browns. By the end of the season, he will be the most electrifying rookie in the NFL.
Justin Fields: New York’s Top-5 Fantasy QB
Fresh start, new team, and a head coach who actually wants him — that’s the Justin Fields 2025 experience. Fields is now wearing green and white for the New York Jets. Aaron Glenn leads a coaching staff that is ready to unleash him in every way possible. Designed runs? Deep bombs to Garrett Wilson? Check and check.
This is a player who’s been a fantasy cheat code before. Now he’s got an offense tailored to his skill set. By season’s end, don’t be surprised when Fields is sitting pretty as a top-5 fantasy quarterback.
Fantasy Spin: Fields’ rushing upside alone gives him QB1 potential every week. In single-QB leagues, he’s the perfect mid-round target for managers who want elite upside without paying a second-round price. In Superflex? Draft him early and enjoy the ride.
